Falkenbach is a one-man German Viking metal project created by Vratyas Vakyas (literally, "The Searching Wanderer"). Vratyas Vakyas lived in Iceland for a considerable time, but now lives in Düsseldorf, Germany again. Throughout the band's lifetime, Falkenbach has progressed from a rawer, more "black" sound towards viking-influenced folk metal with mainly clean vocals. Vakyas' music is nowdays accompanied by session musicians. 1989: Vratyas Vakyas recorded the 1st tape called "Havamal". The tape contains 3 tracks and was limited to 9 copies. 1991: Vratyas started to play guitar in a band called "Crimson Gates". Two demos (unreleased) were recorded between 1991...
Fred Falke met Alan Braxe in the military. Before that he was a funk bass player, but after an accidental meeting with Braxe years later they decided to collaborate as a dance music producing duo. In the heydays of what now is called French House, which was fronted by the likes of Daft Punk and Cassius, they released several singles (underground but highly appreciated) on the French Roulé and Vulture Music labels. The tunes they made, with which Fred became famous, were released in 2005 on The Upper Cuts, except for Chrystal City, which was replaced at the last moment...

Hanns Dieter Hüsch (born 6 May 1925 in Moers; died 6 December 2005 in Windeck-Werfen) was a German author, cabaret artist, actor, songwriter and radio commentator. With a working life of more than 53 years on the German cabaret stage and 70 of his own programmes he was one of the most productive and successful representatives of literary cabaret in Germany in the 20th century.
