Inspired by the likes of Fatboy Slim and DJ Shadow, Meszahline has been making tunes since 2003. With 'Popmuziek', a collection of chopped & screwed remixes of populair songs, he released his first public EP. 'Several Beings' got released a year later and featured 4 original tracks. A collection of leftover beats called 'Wolken' saw the light of day in 2012, the same year in which Meszahline released a concept album with Dutch hiphop legend SpaceKees called 'Ocarina'. Zahl was a Norwegian Americana group. It was founded in Bergen, Hordaland, Norway by Geir Zahl, a singer-songwriter best known as co-founder and guitarist of alternative rock band Kaizers Orchestra. The line-up consisted of Geir Zahl (vocals, guitar), Christer Knutsen (piano, organ, guitar, backing vocals), Pål Hausken (drums, backing vocals), Bård Halsne (guitar, backing vocals), and Eirik Lye (bass). Zahl wrote all of the band's material between 2003 and 2006. Zahl's influences include artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Ryan Adams. Pawol Geigerzaehler was born 78 in Bautzen/Budysin in East-Germany. Started to learn Violine as a Child, but when he was 16, he moved into a Squat and played the fiddle in a few Punk-Bands like Quitschtoys and Köterkacke. Around 2001 when Köterkacke stopped playing, he startet his solo projekt Geigerzaehler. Since 2001 he played around 300 gigs, mostly in autonomous spaces and squats all around germany and switzerland. .
