Teddy Sakakibara, born on 23th August 1989, Japan On his parents’ recommendation, Teddy started playing the electric organ when he was two years old. At age nine, he discovered human beat-boxing online, self-teached it and eventualy made his first live debut as a professional beat-boxer at the age of 15. Dopedrone is a one man project started in 2000. He got his influences from shoegazer, stoner rock, 70's progressive and post-rock. Over the years his music has become more electronic, and can best be described as electronica/shoegazer/doom/noise. Its spacious, heavy and beautiful.
