In a relatively short career spanning just over five years, Demi has done things his way. Wherever he plays the result is the same, and the worldwide audience cannot help but take notice. With his playful audacity and boisteros approach, Demi exuberates only what some DJs can only dream of behind the decks, and this is really ONLY the start for the young Londoner.

His diversity in his performance are both consistent and memorable, always striving to create the whole picture whether over a 2 or 10 hour set. Often found to maintain a steady tempo, Demi works a lot more with the internals of a track to make it 'feel' faster. He knows exactly what he’s doing in terms of creating a journey. This organic approach is never over-thought or planned out, but just oozes out of him very naturally and successfully. It is his humbleness and boundless energy which feeds off anybody who comes across this young man.
Demi’s meteoric rise has been down to a combination of sheer hard work, talent and luck. But as Demi says, “you make your own luck”

Since making his debut holding down an exclusive summer residency in one of Indonesia’s biggest venues at Double Six, and reaching the final of Cream’s Resident competition in 2002, Demi is now in-demand globally from promoters and a host of the elite DJ's requesting to have him perform alongside them.

Highlights include his much publicised visits spinning with Tenaglia in NYC, Miami WMC and most recently in London where both wowed the audiences at Heaven. Pacha debut alongside Laurent Garnier and Tong which had Tong stating on record in DJ Magazine, saying his set was the best warm-up set he’d heard in 2004.

On top of this, spell-binding performances at world reknowned venues such as Cavo Paradiso, Crobar NYC, Avalon and at his Deeper Substance London residency among others have all not gone unnoticed –

He received two separate nominations for `Best Newcomer` and `Breakthrough DJ` at the 2004 DJ Pacha Awards and House Music Awards 2004. Demi is widely acknowledged as being one of the rising stars in the global dance music community.

Demi's DSR label will be showcasing his long awaiting original material which have already featured on some high profile compilations this year alone.
There is some outstanding music to follow as well from the 16bit Lolitas, Shafunkers, B.Original and Harry Peat. This is just the beginning.

Along with the original material comes the string of remixes which have been carefully selected. Whilst many artists are churning out remixes by the dozen, Demi's selective approach to remix work is simply quality not quantity.
A chance meeting with Trifactor from LA led them to collaborating on one of their favourite David Bowie tracks. "Lets's Dance not only received global support from the DJ's but was also picked up by EMI who released the single on their ‘Club Bowie’ remix compilation.

Demi has also finished up a remix of Mashtronic's Supernova which will be released on the excellent SexonWax label and also another remix under his alternative Shepherds guise for Rob da Bank's Sunday Best label called Plastic Operator - Folder.

With so many years ahead of him it’s scary to think how good Demi is going to get. If his career as a DJ is set, he is still warming us up…… .
