There are two groups with the name Time Unlimited:

1) About Time Unlimited / Orvil Smith

Orvil Smith realized his love for singing at age 9 when he sang at the Ward Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica. He formed the group Time Unlimited at age 17 along with 3 other members: the late Junior Delgado, Gosford Manning, and Hugh Marshall.

Time Unlimited, truly unlimited, is still putting together exquisite songs in 2008. They currently have a video called "Just Can't Stay" getting good rotation in Jamaica. Also current is the skillfully crafted lover's rock, "Love Made Us" which is destined to be a classic! These are taken from the upcomming album, "Seek Haile's Blessing". "We Are The Witnesses" (featuring Silk family), "Mother Earth", and the Greensleeves classic hit song, "Gotta Hold On To This Feeling", are among others.

There is still high demand worldwide for the group's older songs, which include hits such as: "Africa We Are Going Home" (a.k.a. "Repartriation" - still in rotation on the B.B.C.), the powerful "Twenty-Third Psalm", and "Run Bald-Head". The group also did the time-honoured song, "Give Love", and also collaborated with dub-poet Mutabaruka on his hit single "Johnny Drughead" in 1981 for Alligator Records in the U.S.

After Delgado went solo, the group was reformed with two new members: Donovan Joseph and Istan Black. They did the memorable album, "Devil's Angel" in 1983 - still available today. Orvil went to England and followed with "Leaving Rome" (Riz Records) that exploded on the London Dancehall scene and in other parts of Europe. He then followed with the album, "Walking on Tightrope" still a classic today.

2) Other Time Unlimited was a dance band from 1991 which consisted of Moritz Von Oswald and Ralf Hertwig. They released one commercial 12" on Overdrive and a promo only 12" with ZTT records. .
