Formed in 2006 as underclassmen in high school, Victory By Revenge are five friends from Howard County, Maryland who radiate positivity through their music as well as in their everyday lives. The boys are now newcomers to the college life but their love for touring has them chomping at the bit for semesters to end and their love affair with the road to commence. Releasing their first EP, First Date Mistakes, in November of 2008, it took VBR some time to find their sound but since then they have accomplished so much because of their hands-on, persistent, and “go get ‘em” attitude. Their sugary sweet hooks about parties and high school will have you singing into the closest hairbrush for days. Bassist John Rossomondo sums it up perfectly by saying, “We’re the girl next door, without the boobs.”

Victory By Revenge has been quickly making their mark on the scene, playing sold out shows, taking on several tours, and opening for artists such as There For Tomorrow, Emily Osment (from Hannah Montana), The Friday Night Boys, and The Downtown Fiction. Their newest self-released EP, Addicted To The Radio, (produced by Bryan Russell (Envy on the Coast, Straylight Run)) is also hitting regional Hot Topic stores. In addition, the music video for their song, A Heart For Faith, won the Howard County Film Festival and has over 7,000 views on YouTube in less than nine months after its release. VBR has also been featured on the Baltimore radio station 98 Rock’s Noise In The Basement, EIY radio, Blazer radio, and won The Courtesy on the Road battle of the bands, which allowed their music video to be featured in all Howard County driver safety classes. For these recent high school grads though, this is just the start of things to come.

Now, having won over the hearts of their local music scene, Victory By Revenge is reaching out to the rest of the world with a strong and rapidly growing online fan base, which has led to national tours being outlined for most of 2010. The next year is looking out to be a big one for VBR, they are working harder than ever to become a presence in the music industry and make their “big city dreams” come true.
