The Bumble Bees were a garage rock band from Den Haag, Zuid Holland, Netherlands, who released three 7" singles between 1966-67. Their line-up consisted of Jim ten Boske (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Joop Lelieveld (guitar, vocals), Rene Bakker (bass) and Nico Overgaauw (drums). B. Bumble And The Stingers ist der Name für wechselnde Zusammenstellungen von Musikern in den USA zwischen 1960 und 1965 für unterschiedliche Zwecke. Bekannt wurde der Name in Verbindung mit zwei Instrumental-Titeln: "Bumble Boogie" (1961) und "Nut Rocker" (1962), eine sehr rockige Variation aus Tschaikowskis "Nussknacker Suite". Nachdem "Nut Rocker" ein großer Erfolg geworden war, wurde von dem Produzenten Kim Fowley von Rendezvous Records kurzfristig ein Trio für TV-Auftritte und eine Promotion Tour zusammengestellt und eine Geschichte erfunden. Ron Thal (* 25. September 1969 in Brooklyn, NY, eigtl. Ronald Blumenthal) veröffentlichte 1995 und 1997 jeweils ein Album als Solo-Künstler und spielt seitdem unter dem Pseudonym Bumblefoot mit der gleichnamigen Band. Seit 2006 ist er zudem neben Robin Finck und Richard Fortus Lead-Gitarrist bei Guns N' Roses. .

This project was a collaboration between Gregory Carmichael, Patrick Adams, and Joey Badlotto, and unsurprisingly, the sound is in the vein of Phreek, Cloud One and the Universal Robot Band.
