Baroness is a metal band that plays an eclectic brand of sludge, embracing the ferocity and sharp technique of new-millennium metal but with melodic accents and intelligent guitar work that suggests the influence of sludge and post-metal bands. Baroness formed in the Summer 2003 in Savannah, GA, United States with all members, past and present, hailing from Lexington, VA in the foothills of the mighty Blue Ridge Mountains. Maybe that’s where the band draws inspiration for their music, or maybe their style is inspired by their name, or maybe it's just when these four band-mates come together the end result...

In their own words, The Barons of Tang describe themselves as "gypsy deathcore." Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, they take the best from gypsy, and add a slightly heavier edge to it. Vocals are kept to a minimum, allowing the raw energy of the instruments to pull the listener into a crazy trance fuelled by catchy beats and hanging on delicious melodies. .

The Baron (the preferred moniker of Theodore Percy Baron III) is a Noise musician from Cardiff, Wales. A driving force behind the current 'Paedocore' movement and joint-founder of Post-Avant-Garde-Baroque-tronic record label, Cock-Off Records. Theodore began composing music at the age of 12 when he chanced upon his Father's reel-to-reel tape recorder and a rather mysterious collection of snuff films he would unearth in his Uncle's garden. The Baron creates aural apocalypses and nightmarish car crashes of sound, employing walls of noise and orchestras of weeping children to do his sonic bidding.
