Batsumi hail from Soweto The group was formed in 1972. Their first LP Batsumi (R&T, RTL 4041) was released in 1974 and was followed by Moving Along (R&T, RTL 4100) in 1976 .

Bit By Bats were a band that formed in 2003 in Adelaide, Australia before relocating to Melbourne and breaking up in 2007. In their time together, Bit By Bats released two EPs and one full length album, and toured Australia with the likes of Youth Group, Cut Copy, Howling Bells, and The Grates. The band also enjoyed numerous international support slots, having shared stages with Wire, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Peaches, Von Bondies, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Nicola Sarcevic and Les Savy Fav. Like Bats are a gritty punk pop band from Northwest Indiana in the vein of Alkaline Trio, Jawbreaker, and Dear Landlord. To date, the band has released a 7-inch EP, ("Look on the Bright Side"), a s/t CDEP, a split cassette with Young Devilry, and were featured on Traffic Street Records' "Dangerous Intersections IV" 7-inch. In 2009, Like Bats went on three short east coast/midwest tours, the last of which carried into January 2010. After that they went on tour to a bunch of other different places. The Judybats were an "alternative rock" band from Knoxville, Tennessee. They recorded four albums and two singles from 1990 to 1994 and had minor success with a cover of Roky Erickson's "She Lives (In A Time of Her Own)" and their 1993 song "Being Simple". Other fan favorites were "Don't Drop the Baby", "Ugly on the Outside", "She's Sad She Said", "All I Want To Do Is F*ck Your Hair", and a cover of the Gary Numan track "Cars", the latter two being b-sides.
