Paradise Lost es una banda orginaria de Halifax,UK, formada en el año 1988 perteneciente a los géneros doom/death y gothic metal. Son difíciles de catalogar, ya que han experimentado con su música constantemente; pasando del sonido death/doom de "Gothic" (considerado el primer álbum de este subgénero), al estilo mas comercial de "Believe in nothing" (mas directo, contundente y con elementos electrónicos), para volver a los punteos de guitarra, aspereza y melancolía de "In Requiem". Felix De Laet (nacido el 30 de noviembre de 1993),​ conocido profesionalmente como Lost Frequencies, es un DJ y productor musical belga. Más conocido por su sencillo "Are You With Me" en el 2014. El 3 de junio de 2016, Lost Frequencies lanzó el single "Beautiful Life", con Sandro Cavazza, que es el single principal de su álbum debut.
