ROUGH SILK se funda en 1989 y han lanzado 8 álbumes entre ellos un best of a lo largo de su historia.
Durante todos estos años la banda se ha definido con un sonido único que es mejor describirlo por el nombre de la banda, ROUGH SILK: "Rough" interpreta las influencias del sonido real del heavy (incluso en algunas ocasiones Thrash) metal y "Silk" por la manera inusual de utilizar elementos en la interpretación y composición de las canciones además de las partes en piano, combinando ambas para su propia marca de Heavy pero aun Metal Melódico.

Dorwin Demarcus Dorrough, mejor conocido como Dorrough, es un rapero americano nacido en Dallas, Texas. Fue al Lancaster High School en Texas, donde fue capitán del equipo de basketball. Dorrough empezó su carrera musical grabando canciones durante los juegos de basketball de esa misma institución educativa. Su primer sencillo, "Walk that walk", alcanzó el #32 en los Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs y #20 en los Hot Rap Tracks en Billboard. Su segundo sencillo y más exitoso hasta el momento, "Ice Cream Paint Job", alcanzó el #28 en los Hot 100 de Billboard.

YOU WALK THROUGH WALLS are Matt Bartram (guitar/vox), James Harrison (drums) and Harry Irving (bass). Matt and James were both in successful Brighton band Air Formation, who split after 12 years in 2011. Influenced by Ride, Swervedriver, Jesus & Mary Chain, this new project took the trio in search of creating the massive soaring sound they love, with fewer members. YWTW make every note count with the energetic determination that has become their hallmark.
Their debut LP 'You Walk Through Walls' is out 21st July 2014 via Club AC30. .
