Silverstein es una banda de post-hardcore procedente de Burlington, Ontario, Canadá, formada en el año 2000, está compuesta por Shane Told (voces, teclados), Paul Marc Rousseau (guitarra), Josh Bradford (guitarra), Billy Hamilton (bajo) y Paul Koehler (batería). Su nombre corresponde al autor de literatura infantil Shel Silverstein. En 2002 Silverstein firma con Victory Records y lanza el álbum When Broken Is Easily Fixed. Fue grabado en los estudios Unity Gain y Mount Studios, con el productor Justin Koop y fue lanzado el 20 de Mayo de 2003 a través de Victory Records. Sheldon Alan "Shel" Silverstein (25th September 1930 – 10th May 1999) was an American poet, songwriter, musician, composer, cartoonist, screenwriter, and author of children's books. Silverstein's passion for music was clear early on as he studied for a while at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. As a songwriter, Silverstein kept a low profile but cast a long shadow. He tended to shun publicity and even photographers.
