Dan Wayland Seals (born February 8, 1948 in McCamey, Texas - died March 25, 2009) was an American musician. From a very music oriented family, his older brother Jim Seals sang with a 1950s musical group called The Champs who had a 1958 hit single with the song "Tequila", and who then teamed up with Dash Crofts in the mid-1960's to perform as Seals & Crofts. Dan's other brother is country musician Eddie Seals. He is a cousin of singers Johnny Duncan, Troy Seals, Chuck Seals and Brady Seals (of Little Texas and Hot Apple Pie fame). Taught by his...

Seven Seals is an original and inventive UK band. A prog/pop car crash, this 'live' band have stayed loyal to their Lakeland home while snaking their way across the British Isles spreading a peerless noise. After a busy 2006 which saw the band release their well received debut 7" single 'Loose Ends' and pick up a host of prestigious support slots Seven Seals return in 2007 with their debut album 'Cells' . Serpentine guitar lines, sinuous bass, drums that kick like John Bonham while swinging like Buddy Rich and enough analogue synthesis to make Bob Moog blush. .
You'd never guess The Beep Seals were from Manchester. If you were picking which west side they're from you'd probably think more LA than Levenshulme. They are a band with a seriously sunny disposition, and a mid-Atlantic sound to match, several hundred miles from Manchester 's famously slate-gray skies. Their debut album Things That Roar is a distinctly presentable record, warm of tone and sweet of harmony; the kind of album you could take home to meet your parents. It touches on The Delgados' grand, melodic sound and Dodgy 's perky indie-rock, with some classic pop references in there too,...
(sometimes written S.F. Seals or SF Seals) "In the early nineties, World of Pooh members Barbara Manning, Melanie Clarin, and Kim Osterwald transformed into the San Francisco Seals. The music of SF Seals was largely pop-oriented, drawing inspiration from the '60s Bay Area scene and often spiced with samples and strange noises -- although as the band grew instrumentally, those aspects became less prominent in their live work. Manning was particularly fond...
