Groupe fondé à Dubai en 2003 par Ben Bruce, Asking Alexandria prend d'abord le nom de : Amongst Us. Appelé ensuite End of Reason, la formation prends finalement le nom d'Asking Alexandria début 2006. Le groupe créé un mini-album « Tomorrow, Hope, Goodbye ». Peu de temps après, Bruce quitte Dubai pour retourner vivre en Angleterre, ce qui mène à la dissolution du groupe. En 2008, le groupe se reforme, garde le nom d'Asking Alexandria et prends le genre métalcore , screamo/éléctro.
