Whitesnake est un groupe de rock britannique, qui a surtout été actif dans les années 1980. Son style est apparenté au hard rock pour les premiers albums, puis glisse vers le heavy metal. Le groupe a été fondé par David Coverdale, ancien chanteur de Deep Purple, et a principalement connu le succès en Europe et au Japon.
Durant leurs premières années, leur musique était un hard-rock orienté vers le blues. Les membres incluaient également Jon Lord, Ian Paice de Deep Purple ainsi que Bernie Marsden et Micky Moody.

Boom Boom Satellites est un groupe japonais de musique électronique formé en 1990, composé de Michiyuki Kawashima (chant et guitare) et Masayuki Nakano (guitare basse et mixage audio).
Le groupe se forme en 1990, mais sa carrière débute véritablement en 1995, lorsque leur chanson Dub Me Crazy, est incluse dans la compilation Abstruct Set One du DJ Fumiya Tanaka. En 1997 ils signent chez Sony Music Ent. Japan.

Ancient Rites is a Belgian black metal (old) / folk metal (recent) band formed in 1988. Initially, the line- up consisted of guitar players Johan and Phillip, drummer Stefan, and Gunther Theys on bass and vocals. In 1990 the Dark Ritual demo was released in the underground scene, getting worldwide attention just as black metal was gaining importance in the metal scene.
