The Darkness est un groupe de rock anglais composé de quatre membres, Dan Hawkins (guitare), Justin Hawkins (guitare, chant et clavier), Frankie Poullain (basse) et Ed Graham (batterie). Le bassiste Frankie Poullain quitte le groupe en 2005, et est remplacé par Richie Edwards. La légende veut que le groupe se forme durant un karaoké, où Justin Hawkins impressionne son frère Dan en chantant Bohemian Rhapsody, du groupe Queen. Experiments in Darkness was a neoclassical darkwave project from Belgium, formed by Dead Man's Hill frontman Bart Piette. Expressive vocals accompanied by a background of oppressive neoclassical music. Recommended for people who can find (and cure) themselves into music which represents total sorrow and neo-romantisicm. Releases included "New World Rising" (2007), "From the Heart" (2008) and "The Decay Reached Not Only Their Flesh..." (2008).
