Tiny Leaves is the music of ambient, modern classical composer Joel Nathaniel Pike. He has developed his sound as a solo artist alongside years of writing and performing in bands. He describes his music as being rooted in narrative, but is often surprised at the undefinable end result. His music has a delicate, cinematic quality that brings a quiet hope. .

Nine Leaves has been refining its craft for the last 10 years. After testing the waters with their self-titled debut album, released in 2006, the collective went back to the lab to further refine their signature sound... the result is nothing less than ground-breaking. Dead Leaves Rising was basically the project that was born from the ashes of my first project Fade, and one which I spent over five years of my life working on. Musically, DLR showed a complexity and an aggression that was absent in all of the Fade material. The acoustic guitar was still the basis for all the songs, but I began to really appreciate what you could do in the studio, inspiring me to experiment with layered guitars and other instruments.
