Immanu El (often typeset as IMMANU EL) is a Swedish post-rock band from Jönköping. Formed by Claes Strängberg and his brother Per in 2004, Immanu El was joined by Michael Persson and Emil Karlsson soonafter where they began to work on their first release. The band name, Immanu El, is a play on words (of sorts) on the Hebrew Bible's prophecy of Immanuel, the prophesied Messiah, and the Semetic word for God, El (deity), and "with us" (Immanu). D.Imman is an Indian film composer and singer. He has composed songs and provided background music for Tamil films. He did his schooling in Don Bosco, Egmore, Chennai and college in Pachaiyappa's College. His first film as music director was Thamizhan in 2001. Since then he has composed music for a total of more than 50 films. Imman was 15 years when he scored music for his debut film Kadhale Swasam, but that film never released.
