Gravediggaz was a hip-hop group from New York City. They were well-known for their dark sense of humor and abrasive, menacing soundscapes. The group was formed in 1993 and was effectively a "supergroup", bringing together Prince Paul (formerly producer with De La Soul and Stetsasonic), Frukwan from Stetsasonic, Poetic from the Too Poetic, and RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. Manipulated Mindz on hetkel neljast mehest koosnev crew – MC-d Mike ja WordWisdom ning biidimehed Otto ja Toasty. Idee moodustada kollektiiv sai alguse 2011. aasta alguskuudel Keilas. Tolleks ajaks olid Mike ja Otto (ning nüüdseks crew'st lahkunud b-boy Chris) juba mõnede kuude jagu esimesi koostöökatsetusi teinud ning tekkis vajadus luua konkreetne rühmitus, et teha edasisi tegusid ühise nime alt. Sai löödud käed vana sõbra Toastyga ning hiljem ka WordWisdomiga. Visioon oli juba siis ühine – kõik mehed pidasid ning peavad siiamaani eriliselt lugu 90ndate esimese poole toorest ja iseloomuliku kõlaga hip-hop'ist.
