Jorma Ludwik Kaukonen, Jr. (born December 23, 1940) is an American blues, folk, and rock guitarist, best known for his work with Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. Born in Washington, D.C., the son of Beatrice Love (née Levine) and Jorma Ludwig Kaukonen, Jorma Kaukonen had Finnish paternal grandparents and Russian Jewish ancestry on his mother's side. Kaukonen was a founding member of the popular psychedelic San Francisco-based band Jefferson Airplane, which scored two Top 10 radio hits in 1967 with "Somebody to Love" and "White Rabbit." Starting on the Lemon Demon forum in 2007, The CamPanulas are a solo project by Conan Fiori-McPhee. Originally, song titles were provided by listeners and McPhee would select his favourites and make songs of them but this practice was more or less abandoned after the second album. So far three albums have been released, entitled 'Songs from the Seabed', 'The White Albumen' and 'Fizziks Enjinn' as well as a staged 'live' record and various other collections. McPhee is currently working on the fourth album entitled 'School' which will hopefully be released before Christmas 2011. .
Jorma Hynninen (born 3 April 1941 in Leppävirta, Finland) is a Finnish baritone. He studied from 1966 to 1970 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and also took lessons from Luigi Ricci in Rome and Kurt Overhoff in Salzburg. Since then he has been a soloist at the Finnish National Opera (1970-90) and musical director (1984-90). He has also sung in various other countries. .
