Lemon Tree were a psychedelic pop group from Birmingham, England, in the mid- to late 1960s. With Mike Hopkins (guitar), Mick Taylor (vocals), Gary Wortley (organ), Derek Arnold (bass), and Keith Smart (drums), their music was close in spirit to the Move, a cheerful, celebratory, and upbeat account of life in a world lit by a psychedelic glow, like the Idle Race, the Nocturnes, and most of their Birmingham compatriots. Lemonade Mouth is a fictional band from the Disney Channel movie of the same name. It is a band of five teenagers (Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael) who meet in detention and ultimately decide to form a band to overcome the struggles of high school, getting their name from the lemonade drink outside the detention room. "Somebody" was the first single of the band, and it debuted on Radio Disney on March 4, 2011. .

Trees of Eternity came into being when Juha Raivio (Swallow the Sun) and Sweden based singer Aleah got together in the latter part of 2008 to work on a song for the upcoming STS album. Neon Trees is an alternative rock/new wave band which formed in Provo, Utah in 2005, with origins in Southern California. Formed initially by neighbors Tyler Glenn (lead vocals/keyboards) and Chris Allen (guitars), the band made its first home in Provo, eventually adding Branden Campbell (bass) and Elaine Bradley (drums/vocals) to the lineup. In 2010, the band's single "Animal" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Their sound was a mix of 60's psychedelia and punk rock, and even though they were critically acclaimed by many (and rather succesful in the 1990s_ they never achieved the superstardom of their 'grunge' peers.
