The band was founded more than 20 years ago in Los Angeles, California, and has spent years at the forefront of the U.S. and Southern California ska scene. Koby Israelite è un compositore/polistrumentista israeliano nato a Tel Aviv il 23 Novembre 1966. Il suo stile musicale è, per molti versi,affiancabile ai lavori di John Zorn (in particolar modo con i suoi Masada) ed alle sperimentazioni dei Mr. Bungle di Mike Patton. La sua musica, che molto deve alla sua terra d'origine, amalgama componenti e stili diversi fra loro, tra i quali il klezmer (musica popolare ebrea), il jazz, il funk,il metal. I suoi primi 4 album sono stati pubblicati dalla Tzadik, l'etichetta discografica fondata da John Zorn. Il suo ultimo album, KING PAPAYA, è stato pubblicato indipendentemente. .
