Nils Wülker (* August 17, 1977 in Bonn) is a German jazz trumpet player and composer. At the age of 7 he started taking piano lessons, at the age of 10 classical trumpet. In 1994, while in the United States, Wülker was influenced by acid jazz and Miles Davis. Back in Germany, he joined the Landesjugendjazzorchester NRW, touring China in 1996 and 1998. Nils Frahm is a German musician and composer based in Berlin. He has released solo material under his own name and also with several notable performers such as Anne Müller, Ólafur Arnalds and F.S. Blumm. He had an early introduction to music. During his childhood he was taught to play piano by Nahum Brodski, a student of the last scholar of Tschaikowski.
