I Tankard sono un gruppo Speed/Thrash Metal nato a Francoforte (Germania) nel 1982. Dopo aver perso il loro chitarrista fecero uscire il loro primo Disco Zombie Attack, nel 1986. Da lì in poi il gruppo ha continuato a fare canzoni e album con lo stesso stile, un Thrash Metal molto veloce e con tematiche in onore dell'alcool. Hoobastank sono una band alternative-rock/post-grunge statunitense formata da Doug Robb (voce), Dan Estrin (chitarra), Markku Lappalainen (basso) e Chris Hesse (batteria). Il gruppo si forma nel 1994 con la coppia Robb - Estrin, ancora liceali, nel quartiere di Agoura Hills, a Los Angeles; poi si aggiungono gli altri due componenti, formando definitavente gli Hoobastank. Serj Tankian è un musicista nato il 21 agosto 1967 a Beirut, da genitori di origini armene. Attualmente vive a Los Angeles. Suona la chitarra, la tastiera e canta. Oliver Tank is a young Sydney-based producer and musician who is turning heads and melting hearts with his enchanting down-tempo electronica. Tank's music has been compared to Bon Iver and James Blake and he lists Nosaj Thing, Boards of Canada, & Jon Hopkins as musical inspirations.
