Food for Thought | ja
バンド名は、英単語の響きで音楽の世界観を表現しているため、特に深い意味はない。
楽曲の作詞は全て内村が手掛ける。
2004年10月に内村を中心に結成。12月に初ライブを行い、ライブハウスを中心に音楽活動を展開する。
2007年にミニアルバム『school food is good food』でデビュー。2008年には楽曲「feedback」
「二人海の底」がテレビドラマの主題歌に起用される他、同曲を収録したアルバム『Riff-rain』の
タワーレコード限定盤がタワーレコードインディーズチャートで1位を記録し、1週間で完売する。
また、FM802主催のライブイベント『MINAMI WHEEL 2008』や、J-WAVE主催のライブイベント『TOKYO REAL-EYES LIVE SUPERNOVA』に出演するなど、活動の幅を広げる。
2009年、初のシングル「futuristic imagination」でEPIC RECORDS JAPANよりメジャーデビュー。
直後には、フランスのパリで開催された『Japan Expo 2009』に出演し、観客は2日間の合計で1万人を数えた。
2012年6月11日、内村友美の脱退に伴い、解散することを発表。

scope（2002年脱退）、ワタナベ（2004年脱退）等の活動を経て、2008年加入。
比田井修（ひだい おさむ、1981年11月24日 - ）
ドラム担当。神奈川県出身。血液型B型。
current of air（2008年に活動休止）のドラムと並行し、2007年加入。 .
Ivan Sotirov, known as Thought - is a drum&bass producer and dj from Sofia, Bulgaria. Mainly flirting with the darker, harder sound of the genre. His inspiration stems from sounds in the 97-99 period with a combined background in drum complexity. His first debut vinyl release on Dylan's Obscene Recordings was just the beginning for this growing artist. Since his first step into the genre, he has went on to work with labels such as Tech Itch, Freak, Counterstrike, Soothsayer, Vampire, m-Atome, Backlash and is also currently involved with Bassline Agency and Therapy Sessions Bulgaria.

Originally produced by Coldcut on the Ninja Tune independent record label, the DJ Food project started in 1990 on the premise of providing metaphorical "food for DJs". DJ Food released the Jazz Brakes series, with Jazz Brakes Volume 3 being the most successful. The records consisted of collections of breaks, loops and samples, ideal for mixing, remixing and producing the trademark Ninja Tune blend of jazz & hip hop.
