Lucy Rose Parton (Born 1989) is an English singer/songwriter from Warwickshire .
She contributed vocals on the Bombay Bicycle Club albums Flaws, A Different Kind of Fix, and So long, See You tomorrow.
Her debut single, "Middle of the Bed" came out August 8th 2011, followed by two more singles: Scar, and Red Face.
Her debut album, Like I Used To, was released 21st September 2012. A solo European tour followed, starting 25th September.

来歴
* 1995年、福村が雑誌にメンバー募集を出してLucy Van Peltを結成。バンド名は漫画『PEANUTS』の登場人物名から取った。
* 1997年、1枚目のアルバム『in Harmony』をGOD'S POP recordsより発売。直後に坂本が脱退。
* 1998年、シングル「シトラス e.p.」で東芝EMIよりメジャーデビュー。同時にバンド名を(原作者から物言いが付いた事もあって)現在の「advantage Lucy」に変更。
* 1999年、福村が脱退。
* 2001年、自身のレーベルsolaris recordsを設立し、『oolt cloud』をリリース。
* 2005年、番場が脱退。
エピソード
* 石坂と番場は以前にも同じバンドで活動していたことがあったが、結成当時に石坂は音楽を離れており、電気関係の会社員として働いていた。
* アイコはこのバンド以前に音楽活動の経験がなくメンバーとして受け入れられるか不安だったため、初回の練習時のスタジオ料金を支払う際に「このバンドに入れてくれるのなら（自分の分を）払います」と言った。

* 石坂と番場はLittlestoneのメンバーとして1997年にアルバム『Jasmine』を発表している。
* 番場と坂本は初期のluminous orangeに在籍し、アルバム『Vivid Short Trip』『Waiting For The Summer』に参加している。
* 福村は脱退後、Vasallo Crab 75を結成し、アルバム『BREATHE』『flip turn』を発表した。
* 初期において、ギターを持ったアイコを中心とする編成の活動をmaples（メイプルス）という名義で行っていた。
* 番場はかつてnails of hawaiianにも在籍していた。

Lucy Spraggan (born 21 July 1991) is an English musician, currently signed to Columbia Records, who describes her music as 'A-Flop', a mixture of acoustic, folk, and hip hop. In July 2011, she was announced as the runner up of the Urban, Pop & Acoustic category of Live and Unsigned at the age of 20. In June 2012, she performed alongside Razorlight at Osfest at the Oswestry Showground in Shropshire. She independently released her album Top Room At The Zoo in November 2011, with associated music videos released on YouTube.

Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles formed in 2007 in Twin Cities, MN. Lucy received an ukelele as a gift so she started writing songs and decided to form the band.
According to their Twitter: "Combine a dash of equal parts; old-time, mountain, bluegrass, gypsy, rag, polka. folk., punk, pop, with the whistle of Andrew Bird."
They were Geoff Freeman (drums), Ashley Boman (accordion), Chris Graham (guitar), Jesse Schuster (bass), Eamonn McLain (cello) and Lucy Michelle (vocals and ukelele).
