Moderatto is a Mexican pop-rock group famous for their glamorous/ironic style of music. They began playing in the mid-nineties in Mexico City, as a parody of the glamorous style of many 80's bands like Poison and Mötley Crüe; it began as a side project to the members' original bands, but eventually became quite popular among members of the Mexican alternative scene. The Moderator, aka Klaas-Jan Jongsma, is one of Hollands most talented producers in the field of electronic dance music. He has a very personal, melodic and soulful style of music that combines the past with the future. Klaas-Jan caught on to electronic music at an early age, listening to a broad range of developing styles. It all started... ...sometime back in 1980 in the suburbs of Malmö in south of Sweden. In a small dusty room four guys are doing their best to play their instruments.
