ヤン・シオン　 (Bass) キム・ジェウク　(Vocal、Guitar) キム・テヒョン　(Drums) ユ・スンボム　　(Guitar) 　 ソウル芸術大学の同期でバンドを結成。2009年、キム・ジェウクがGMFのフェスティバルGuyとなったのを機に「Walrus」と名前をかえ、公式デビュー。バンド名はThe Beatlesが1967年に発表した『I Am the Walrus』から付けた。 2010年1月21日　ローリングホール（ソウル）にて初ライブを開催。 2010年後半　ベースとしてヤン･シオンが加わる。 2011年1月24日、1st　Single　「Walrus」　デジタル配信開始。2月8日、CD発売。 ドラマ「コーヒープリンス1号店」「メリーは外泊中」などで知られる人気俳優、キム・ジェ ウクがボーカル＆ギターを務めるロックバンドWalrusのファーストシングル！ キム・ジェウクがソウル芸術大学の同期とともに結成した Walrusは、ベースのヤン・シオン、ドラムのキム・テヒョン、ギターのユ・スンボムの4人組。 ニルヴァーナやオアシスなどの影響を受けたオルタナティブなサウンドを聴かせるロックバンド。 今作には、メンバーたちが作詞・作曲・プロデュースを手が けた3曲を収録。 椎名林檎／東京事変との仕事で知られるレコーディングエンジニア、井上雨迩をプロデューサーに迎えたハイクオリティーな1枚に仕上がって いる。 .

Dinowalrus is psychedelic synth-punk band from Brooklyn, NY comprised of former Titus Andronicus guitarist Pete Feigenbaum, synth and bass wizard Liam Andrew, and veteran drummer Max Tucker. Pete started the band in 2008 and they quickly grabbed attention with a long run of local and regional shows with the likes of Javelin, Surfer Blood, Health, Real Estate, Screaming Females, A Place to Bury Strangers, Crystal Stilts, Titus Andronicus and These are Powers. They started 2009 strong with a 7" release that was distributed by Impose and RVNG, another 7" release on the Australian label EXO, plus a tour to SXSW...

The Walrus uses vocally rich and intricate arrangements, evoking songs by the Beatles, Queen, the Eagles, the B-52s, Kansas, Manhattan Transfer, Traveling Wilburys, Eric Clapton, Jefferson Airplane, CSNY, the Kinks, and Aretha Franklin. All band members sing, enabling the band to perform songs most cover bands would never think of even trying, such as Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
