Jan Nedved (born 24th September 1946 in Prague) is one of the most iportant czech folk singers/songwriters. His musical career has started in beat bands „The Three Long Fingers“, „The Preachers“. Since 1972 Jan plays in tramp band „Toronto“, which was renamed to „Brontosauri“ in 1974. Jan and his brother Frantisek are the central duo of this band. At the same time Jan Nedved could be seen performing with another band – „Spiritual Kvintet“. Since 1988 Jan starts his single career.
