4 Strings currently consists of Carlo Resoort (who mostly makes the music) and Jan De Vos (who mostly works on production and arrangement, and performs some songs). In 2004, there were some rumors of singer Vanessa van Hemert leaving the group, due to some new 4 Strings songs that were released that did not feature van Hemert. On the official 4 Strings website, Resoort debunked the rumors. Although in 2005, van Hemert did leave the group. While Jan De Vos isn't actually a part of 4 Strings, he took up the name DJ 4 Strings and does all live performances...
Magical Power Mako is a very important Japanese psychedelic/avant-garde artist. Since his recorded debut in the early 1970s, Mako has covered genres as diverse and disparate as traditional Japanese folk, acid folk/rock, experimental, krautrock, progressive rock, and more recently ambient music. Magical Unicellular Music Of Solntsetsvety appeared as a result of a successful experiment, during which Solntsetsvety (transcontinental artistic group) decided to try and transfer the qualities of the mechanical beat to the entire band. Turned out that music, thus devoid of structure and theme attains special expressiveness. The Strings were one of the bands of the early 80's witch are named as "Belpop" , big in Belgium. We can compare them with The Kids, The Bet, Scooter, De Kreuners and many more. "Belpop" starded at the late 70's and went by just until the late 80's. .
