Paddy Kelly was born on December 5th, 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. He grew up in Spain with his 11 siblings, and, directed by their father, they performed in Europe as The Kelly Family. The band achieved a great deal of success with their Folk/Pop repertiore. Paddy wrote such hits as an angel (1995) and fell in love with an alien (1996).
He began recording tracks independently and in 2003 he released his solo album in exile, which reached No. 13 on the German album charts and garnered favourable reviews. Paddy Kelly left the music business in 2004.

Paddy Goes To Holyhead (also PGTH or Paddies) are a German Folk-Rock band from Darmstadt (Germany) founded by Paddy Schmidt in 1988.
The band's name not only is inspired by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, but also refers to the so-called "paddies", a term once used for Irish emigrants, as well as the Welsh seaport Holyhead which had been an important transit station for many Irish emigrants.

Paddy Reilly (b. October 18, 1939) is an Irish folk singer and guitarist. He is one of Ireland's most famous balladeers and is best known for his renditions of The Fields of Athenry and The Town I Loved So Well. Paddy has been known to mix up his songs with mythical/legendary characters such as John G. McGurk, Barnie McGee, Uncle J.J. McKay, Slugger O'toole, Patrick "Fisticuffs" Norton, Paul P. "Stomach Shelf" Norkas and Hogan from County Tyrone.
For years a solo performer, he joined The Dubliners in 1996 as a replacement for long time member Ronnie Drew.
