Arctic Monkeys are an indie rock band formed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England in 2002 after meeting at Stocksbridge High School. The band consists of Alex Turner (vocals, guitar), Jamie Cook (guitar), Nick O'Malley (backing vocals, bass) and Matt Helders (drums, vocals). Founding bassist Andy Nicholson left in 2006. Arctica are primarily Kim Stanley and Lloyd Cox. They record songs made up on the spot, with a microphone hanging from a lightbulb in a 100% improvised fashion. Nothing is taken away or censored and what you hear was completely created in the moment with no beforehand thought or writing. On hugely rare occasions, Arctica play live with the assistance of Loz Hancock(drums) and Michael Gammon(bass). Sonata Arctica was formed in 1996 on the edge of the world, in the northern Finnish town of Kemi. Originally formed as Tricky Beans, they released few demos and as they got the contract they had to change their name. In 1999 the band recorded a new demo "FullMoon" in Tico Tico Studios located in their hometown, Kemi. Techno/IDM producer from Wisconsin, better known as Eric Bray to his friends. Remixed Anders Ilar's "Sand" in 2005 for Merck sublabel Narita, then went on to release his debut album "Citystream" the following year to considerable critical acclaim. In 2008 he released Neon Veils, through the Tokyo based label Lantern.
