There are two bands that are named Paniks: 1. Paniks, Serbia play traditional/folk songs from Serbia (http://www.myspace.com/panikssub) 2. Paniks, Bizkaia, Basque Country were born in Barakaldo with an aim to demolish the anquilosated structures of rock and come back to his primitive roots. Paniks is a garage band where the individual virtuosism doesn´t exist, which has originated a sound based on the virgin rythm where the melody has been outcasted. Back to nature! The Panik were amongst the first wave of British punk rock bands in the 1970s. Formed in Manchester, the band released their only EP "It Won't Sell" in 1977. The Ep contained three songs: "Urban Politics", "Modern Damnation" and "Murder". The Panik are possibly best recalled now as contemporaries of the band Warsaw, who would later become Joy Division. Joy Division singer Ian Curtis nearly joined The Panik before deciding to continue with Warsaw. Bez Panike is pop/punk/rock band formed in december 1995 as a reaction of 4 teenagers on fast growing underground scene in their town Cakovec. Already at the begining, the band becomes in touch with d.i.y. philosophy and soon recorded a split garage demo with their friends, the Grasshoppers, which was released by local punk fanzine “Erzikej”. This demo mostly contained punk classic covers and few of their own songs. But their first authoring studio tape, called “Stvarnost”, was recorded (and released by themselves) in summer 1996. Piotr Szczepanik (ur. 14 lutego 1942 roku w Lublinie), polski piosenkarz, kompozytor i aktor. Data Panik formed from the ashes of bis. Bis disbanded in 2003, but after two years apart, the three members came back together, along with new members Stuart Memo and Graham C. Data Panik's sound was quite similar to that of Bis; unfortunately the band met with little commercial success and and disbanded in August 2006. .
