Originally from Poland, Dj Markski's first Disc jockey experience was with a radio show from Loyola College in Chicago (1992) called Energy 88.7. The show was called Powerpack which was Techno music and then later for B96 FM starting in 1996. Being a trend setter he saw Eurodance as the next big thing. Kapela powstała w 1993 roku, na rzecz wokalisty i bassisty Master`a V i gitarzysty Destructhor`a. Tymczasowo (do 1994) wspomógł ich perkusista Lars Petter. W 1995 zastąpił go Bjorn Thomas, ale ten również nie zabawił w zespole zbyt długo. Mimo to kapela poszła pełną parą i już 8 maja tego samego roku 4- utworowe demo "Ode til Norge" było gotowe. Użyto nań automatu perkusyjnego. Przełom dla Myrkskog nastąpił w 1996 roku kiedy to perkusista Eek from Funeral i gitarzysta Odium zasili jej szeregi.
