Spitting Off Tall Buildings was a German rock band fronted by Jana Pallaske, known for an honest and straight approach to underground music and D.I.Y. attitude.. She sings under the name of "A girl called Johnny" Some of their influences were Hüsker Dü, Pixies, Black Flag, Fugazi, Mclusky, (who happen to be responsible for the occasional two bass players), and Sonic Youth.
