Dragonette tworzą : kanadyjska piosenkarka Martina Sorbara urodzona w Londynie oraz basista i producent Dan Kurtz, perkusista Joel Stouffer, i gitarzysta Will Stapleton (który zastąpił pierwszego gitarzystę gdy grupa przeprowadziła się do Londynu). Martina byla już ukształtowaną piosenkarką przed rozpoczęciem przygody z zespolem Dragonette. Ma na koncie 2 solowe albumy oraz udany występ w projekcie soundtracku "Uptown Girls".
