Lapis Lazuli é uma banda de metal sinfônico originaria da Suécia, formada pelo vocalista e tecladista Timo Hautamäki no ano de 2005. No periodo de 2007 a 2010 a banda teve seu nome alterado para aftermath, mas no final do mesmo ano então o nome foi mudado novamente para Lapis Lazuli.
Até o presente momento a Lapis Lazuli possui uma demo, três álbuns de estúdio e um vídeoclipe, sendo esse lançado no final de 2011. Tem como principais influências as bandas Nightwish, After Forever, Ensiferum, entre outras. .
Lazuli is a progressive rock/avantgarde rock band formed in France in 1998. In 1999 they released their self-titled first album Lazuli, which had a limited audience.
Their second album, Amnésie, in 2004, was released after Lazuli signed with the Night & Day distribution group.
On July 2 and 3, 2005, Lazuli attended the Montreux Jazz Festival and received an award for "Under the Sky."
The band has played two times on the Baja Prog Mexicali Festival which has improved their popularity.
In 2007 the band released their third recording: En Avant Doute.... The album was distributed via Musea Records and...
