Em 2016 que o Moons surgiu com seu primeiro disco Songs of Wood & Fire, misturando referencias tipicamente mineiras com o folk britânico de nomes como Nick Drake e John Martyn. Formada por Andre Travassos (voz, violão e guitarra) apos o fim de sua antiga banda Câmera, a formação se consolidou com a chegada de outros importantes nomes da cena musical de Belo Horizonte: Jennifer Souza (Transmissor) nas vozes e guitarras, Tiago Eiras (Dibigode) na bateria, Bernardo Bauer (Pequeno Ceu) nos baixos, Victor Magalhaes (Iconili) nos teclados, posteriormente substituído por Felipe D’Angelo e Digo Leite no banjo, violão e harmônica....

Moonspell é uma banda de metal gótico formada em Portugal, inicialmente como "Morbid God" em 1989, e tinha como integrantes Fernando Ribeiro nas vozes e Mike Gaspar na bateria, além de dois outros integrantes. Foi em 1992 que a banda mudou o nome para Moonspell.
