Em Janeiro de 2005 Alberto Espinosa, integrante do grupo “Los Piltrafas” contrata o produtor Abelardo Vázquez para conhecer sua música, dois meses depois Los Piltrafas recebem o convite do produtor para integrar a voz principal a Yadira Gianola, e é assim que nasceu Nikki Clan.
Em Abril de 2005 já começaram a trabalhar juntos na gravação de algumas demos como “Mírame” e “Dímelo a mi”, em Julho do mesmo amo, apresentam a SonyBMG o projeto no qual é bem aceitado, dois meses depois assinam contrato discográfico com SonyBMG para a gravação de 5 CD’s.

In 2007, she was going to release her debut album, "This Girl," but was dropped from her label. She's currently a SonyATV Songwriter and co-wrote Empty Words with Christina Aguilera. She also did background vocals for Keyshia Cole's Missing Me. .
