SLIME BALL foi formada em 2004 por Mako, Katayama, Hazawa e Yuki. Todos eles têm sido importantes para a cena punk-melódica japonesa, junto com Hi-Standard desde meados dos anos 90. Tendo todos esses caras juntos novamente como uma banda, ganharam muita atenção do público.
Yuki decidiu deixar a banda um pouco antes do lançamento do album, felizmente eles conseguiram recorrer a um amigo da banda. Yosuke no baixo e pra continuar com o SLIME BALL.
Yosuke deixou a banda depois de uma turnê em 2007. Depois de 6 meses de hiato Shintaro entrou pro SLIME BALL no baixo. Agora SLIME...
