Kasabian é uma banda de rock alternativo de Leicester, Inglaterra. Formada por Tom Meighan (vocais), Sergio Pizzorno (guitarra, sintetizadores, vocais), Christopher Edwards (baixo), Ian Matthews (bateria) e o guitarrista em turnês Jason Mehler. A banda tem sido comparada com Primal Scream, por sua semelhante fusão de indie e electro-rock e Oasis, com quem partilham a sua confiança, visão e estilo vocal áspero.
O nome foi retirado de Linda Kasabian, ex-integrante da Família Manson, que testemunhou contra esta no julgamento do Caso "Tate-LaBianca".
A banda foi formada em 1999 em Leicester, Inglaterra. Seu primeiro álbum foi simplesmente "Kasabian", e em 2004...
