Emerging artist Omar LinX has been perfecting his craft since the age of 15, but only recently felt it was time to drop his first mixtape “A Cold Welcome,” and has hit the ground running. In only a short period of time LinX has proven that he is at the forefront of Toronto hip hop. In the past year he has collaborated with local Toronto talent, as well as established heavy hitters, like Royce Da 5’9" and Joell Ortiz. #1 Linx were a British soul/funk band consisting of David Grant, Bob Carter (keyboards), Andy Duncan (drums), Canute Edwards (guitar) and Peter Martin (bass) (aka Sketch). After their first hit in 1980, the band slimmed down to a duo of Grant and Martin. They had six entries on the UK Singles Chart from mid-1980 until mid-1982. Their biggest success was "Intuition", which reached number 7 in early 1981. Other hits included "You're Lying" and "So This is Romance".

Группа ЭотLinX образовалась в 1998 году в г. Орле, в средней школе №37. Как уже было сказано выше - до недавнего времени коллектив носил имя Paralon - это название наверняка хорошо знакомо многим приверженцам "жесткой" музыки. Песни группы не раз выходили на панк-хардкор сборниках в России, ЭотLinX / Paralon записали и выпустили в 2001-м году альбом "600 у.е." в формате MC, группа регулярно принимает участие в альтернативных музыкальных фестивалях.
