Green Day (русск. зелёный день - на американском сленге означает день «дуракаваляния», проведенный за курением марихуаны) — американская панк-группа. Состоит из четырёх участников: Билли Джо Армстронга (вокал, гитара), Майка Дёрнта (бас гитара, бэк-вокал), Тре Кула (ударные) и (с момента анонса альбома ¡Uno!) Джейсона Уайта (гитара).
Green Day первоначально были частью панк-рок-среды, сформировавшейся вокруг панк-клуба 924 Gilman Street (Беркли). Их первые альбомы, записанные на независимой компании Lookout!Records, позволили группе заработать множество фанатов. В результате группа вместе с другими калифорнийскими панками (The Offspring, Rancid) подняла волну огромного интереса к панк-музыке не только в США, но и во всём мире.

Evergreen was a Southern California underground band from the early-to-mid 1990s.
They had several releases over their lifespan, including two 7"s, a split 7" with Los Angeles hardcore/screamo band Still Life, and a much sought 12", most of which was released on Anomaly Records. They still have a 7" out on San Diego's Gravity Records. They are notorious amongst record collectors due to the rarity of the "7 Songs" LP (Anomaly Records).
