Superaquello's music resonates with shades of traditional Puerto Rican sounds and electronic music. Formed in 1997, they are the most recent musical incarnation of the composers Eduardo Alegría and Francis Perez. Between them, they have more than twenty years of collaboration during which time they produced several other projects like ALPACA, Mataril the Bótico, Infamia All-Stars and Mup Siqui Ta. Quelle Chris is a rapper, DJ and producer hailing from Detroit. His self-produced EP, The Son, was released on October 5, 2011, and is available for free download. His debut album, Shotgun & Sleek Rifle, was released on November 15, 2011, via Synergy Works. The album was mostly self-produced by Quelle, but also features production from Roc Marciano and House Shoes, along with guest appearances from Danny Brown, Roc Marciano, and Big Tone, among others. On April 4, 2012, Quelle released the mixtape 2Dirt4TV Vol 1, which was entirely produced by Dibiase. .

Quellet’s approach to musique concrete and sound manipulation pays careful homage to the likes of Pierre Schaeffer and Luc Ferrari but Quellet's own mark remains distinct. His work has its own voice despite the weight of history that he is composing against. It is nice to hear a fresh take on what has become a stodgy and uninspired field of music; he clearly has a lot of talent and a good ear for sound. .
