Shooting At Unarmed Men was the project of former mclusky member Jon Chapple (guitar/vocals). It had existed as a "sporadical joke" since around 1999, possibly as an outlet for Chapple's songwriting which could not be accommodated by mclusky. With Simon Jarvis (of Big Joan) replacing Alexander, they released two albums: Soon There Will Be... in October 2005 and Yes! Tinnitus! in May 2006, both on mclusky's former label Too Pure. This line-up played their last gig on April 16th 2006...

Once he had cleaned himself up he formed a group around singer billy g. bang! (another addict), bassist Dave Tregunna and...
The Art Of Shooting is a Brooklyn, NY based band currently comprised of Kelly Irene Corson, Jim Archer and Julie Rozansky. The basement with no windows saw the evolution of songwriting that came from the overactive pelvis, and a love of the ugly and loud. Comparisons to Feist, Explosions in the Sky, PJ Harvey, Arcade Fire, and the Pretenders have brought them full circle to an outfit that embodies aggression, dissonance, and lullaby. They have a 5 song EP "Tyrant's Black Eyes" available through the Ace Fu Family Business, and their full length LP "The Traveling Show" is out now!...
