Встретившись в 1997-м году в музыкальном клубе университета Aoyama Gakuin University, Куми (Kumi - вокал, гитара) и Наоки (Naoki - гитара, бас и клавишные) образовали дуэт Love Psychedelico. В апреле 2000-го состоялся их дебют с синглом «Lady Madonna» на крупном японском лейбле Victor Entertainment.
