The Blurrd Minds were founded in 2003 when six blurrd boys from Landsberg/Lech (Germany) and from Göteborg (Sweden) joined together at first predominantly for an easy kind of project. The six musicians who could all revert to huge musical experience had firstly devoted themselves to the common cause of music just for fun. An Ian Blurton (Change of Heart, Bionic, C'mon) project, Blurtonia was a Canadian rock group, formed in May 1999 to play live shows in support of the well-received self-released debut Adventures in the Kingdom of Blurtonia. The debut album was co-produced by Daryl Smith whose credits include Sloan, Tricky Woo, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
