Bernard Paganotti started off by playing the guitar when he was 13, then switched to the bass. He created the group Cruciférius Lobonz, with Christian Vander, which later became Cruciferius, and went to play with the group in Japan. Keyboardist Bernard Wright seemed like a coming fusion and urban star when he toured with Lenny White at 13 and played with Tom Browne in 1979. Bernard Roberts (born 23 July 1933, Manchester) is a notable English pianist. His treatment of the cycle of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas has been particularly highly acclaimed. He is also noted for his recordings of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Roberts' recording of the Well-Tempered Clavier, Books 1 and 2, performed on piano, was released in 1999 by Nimbus Records and was well-received.
