New Orleans-based rapper Juvenile was born Terius Gray. After beginning his performing career while in his teens, he released a 1995 album on Warlock titled Being Myself. He eventually crossed paths with Cash Money label owners Ronald "Suga Slim" and Brian "Baby" Williams, who issued 1996's Solja Rags; the album became a major underground hit, and set the stage for the release of 1998's 400 Degreez. In 1994, Mos Def along with his younger brother DCQ and his younger sister Ces, formed the group Urban Thermo Dynamics.
UTD first graced the scene with the underground classic track "My Kung-Fu". They soon thereafter followed up with the now classic "Manifest Destiny" single which gave them notoriety among the wider hip-hop masses.
Though the group was signed to Payday Records, the group’s album was never released due to label politics. Soon after the group was released from Payday, Mos Def and DCQ formed Medina Green and released the Rawkus Records underground mega-hit "Crosstown Beef."

RENTRER EN SOI (リエントール アン ソイ) was a metal band from Japan, formed in 2001, but their activities during their first two years were scarce. They released a few demo-tapes, a few singles that were only available at their lives, and that was it. At first, the band consisted of only four members: Satsuki (砂月) on vocals, Takumi (匠) and Ao (蒼) on guitar and Ryo (遼) on bass.
