In 2000 the Blues Cousins was awarded the best blues band at “Blues Sur Seine” festival in France among 57 bands from all over the globe. Few weeks later Levan Lomidze (lead guitarist and the singer ) was awarded by the Moscow government for the gig –“Blues Against the Drugs” In 2003 and 2004 the band made two big (three month) tours in USA performing more than 70 gigs and took part in 15 blues festivals in Washington , Idaho , Montana and other states. The Colonial One adventure began in 2009, when Luca Magnano and Andrea Magnano started with their trance project. With this creative alias, the brothers have captured their passion for electronic music and want to give their support to the trance culture. Ten years of difference between them don't affect at all to their creativity and musical tastes. In fact, this allows them to mix different sounds between past and present. The Wild Colonial Bhoys began as a side-project idea for two young veterans of the Minneapolis rock scene. Adam Coolong and Geno Carlson hail from different backgrounds thousands of miles apart (Adam is originally from Pennsylvania and Geno calls Saskatchewan home) but found common ground with a shared Irish heritage and a desire to reinvigorate the local Irish music community.
